Candidate Nominations-Central Committee Meeting
Special Central Committee Meeting-Nomination of Candidates
The Chair has called a special meeting of the State Central Committee of the Libertarian Party of Maryland, for the exclusive purpose of nominating candidates for public office. The meeting will be held on Saturday, May 21, beginning at 11 a.m., at the Loch Raven Library, 1046 Taylor Avenue, Towson, Maryland 21286.
Because this is a special meeting, no business other than nominating candidates will be considered. The meeting is open to the public. If you wish to run for public office as a Libertarian, you can be nominated at this meeting and your nomination will then be considered. Only members of the state central committee may make nominations and members can nominate themselves. As with all central committee meetings, written proxies may be given pursuant to the Constitution and Bylaws of the party.
If you have questions about the process of being nominated for public office, or about the meeting, you may contact Eric Blitz, the Chair, at email hidden; JavaScript is required. You may also call 1-800-657-1776
