The Maryland Libertarian Party has a new website!  Thanks to Mark Grannis, who did most of the work on the new website.  Thanks also to Dr. Robert Glaser, who maintained the former site for over 15 years.  Nobody in the LP updated their state party websites with information faster than Dr. Glaser.

The new website contains a blog, twitter feed, and an RSS feed connected to the LP blog.  Our goal is to have new content on the website each weekday.

The email addresses for the party officers have also changed.  My new email address is email hidden; JavaScript is required, and  you can find updated contact information for other officers and the party spokesperson here.

The Libertarian Party national convention will take place in Columbus, OH from June 26 through June 29.  Further information, including a list of speakers and a page for online registration, is available here.

The Maryland LP has been allotted 21 delegates for the convention.  Twelve delegates have already been nominated.  If you haven’t been nominated as a delegate, but want to serve as one, please let me know ASAP.  If you are a member of the Central Committee, you can serve with the Maryland delegation.  If you aren’t a CC member, but are a dues-paying member of either the state or national party, you may be able to serve as a delegate with another state group.  But I need to hear from you soon.  Final delegate lists must be submitted in a few weeks.

Were you not able to attend the LP Maryland LP convention last month?  You can view and listen to the speakers here.

Two more LP Maryland candidates were nominated at the state convention:
  • Leo Martin – Garrett County Commissioners
  • Leo Dymowski – Attorney General
