Alex Schlegel was appointed to the Libertarian Party of Maryland’s Executive Board by Chair Eric Blitz on September 21, 2021 to fill the vacancy created by Kyle O’Donnell’s resignation. On October 6, 2021, the appointment was unanimously confirmed by the Executive Board. Welcome aboard Alex!

Alex has been active within the party for the last few years and received the next highest number of votes at the annual convention for the at-large position. He can be reached for party business at email hidden; JavaScript is required.

The Chair thanks Kyle for his service on the board and for the party. Kyle isn’t leaving us, he is just moving on to other time-consuming tasks for liberty and needs to focus on those in the coming months.
