The Libertarian Party presidential and vice-presidential candidate debates will take place online on Thursday, 21 May, at 8:00 pm ET. The presidential candidate debate will be first, followed by the debate for vice-presidential candidates.

Each debate will last one hour. The debate moderator is Reason Magazine’s John Stossel.

To qualify for the debates, a candidate must be in the top five of written support of national convention delegates. The written support takes place in the form of tokens. Each delegate receives one token, which they submit for the candidate of their choice.
